Memory Void is an audiovisual art game inspired by the Greek underworld and the mythological rivers Lethe and Mnemosyne. Drawing on these narratives of forgetting and remembrance, the work explores memory, oblivion, and the relationship between the individual and space through an interactive audiovisual environment.

Participants navigate the landscape from the perspective of a soul, choosing between the two rivers as they move through fragmented memories and states of oblivion. The experience shifts between third- and first-person perspectives, while spatial sound, transformed voices, and environmental atmospheres guide the journey. In the river of Mnemosyne, distorted voices gradually unfold into fragments of narrative, evoking remembrance and collective memory. In contrast, the absence of voices in Lethe creates a disorienting sonic landscape associated with forgetting.

Combining interactive navigation, moving image, and spatial sound, Memory Void investigates how digital environments can become spaces for reflecting on memory, loss, and transformation, where remembering and forgetting continuously reshape identity and experience.
