Anna Phaenarete Lioka
lioka.anna@gmail.comAnna Phaenarete Lioka is a Berlin-based artist from Thessaloniki, Greece. Working across sound installation, moving image, sculpture, performance, and computational media, her practice explores relationships between human and more-than-human worlds through listening, material transformation, and speculative narratives.
Her artistic research investigates how memory is inscribed across bodies, landscapes, and matter, bringing together geological, biological, and technological forms of temporality. Through archives, field recordings, machine learning, and spatial sound, she creates installations that examine how processes of transformation shape perception, history, and forms of coexistence.
She is currently a Spatial Audio Specialist at Transmoderna and co-founder of the collectives Odd Sonorous and Xώma.
